My name is Kathy and this blog was started after the death of our daughter, Tonia Brundage Amato. Tonia was killed by her husband on July 1, 2007. I started writing to answer all of the how are you and what can we do to help. I think about this blog as our journey from Homicide to Healing.
I am a wife, mother, nurse at UPMCl and a coach for our high school youth group! I love people! I enjoy music, books and talking to people!
I love to hear the stories about Tonia and also your comments on my thoughts.
Now that our legal journey is over I will continue to write about Our Journey with God as we continue to heal and continue to follow the path that He has set out before us. My desire is to help others who are struggling with their relationship with God and with other people. Marriages are an important focus for my husband and I. We host weekend retreats to help families draw closer to each other as they grow closer to God.
I received your blog site after your daughter passed away. You blog moved me and I check this site periodically. Your writing is superb and your cause is moving.
I am not sure if you remember me, but I am the daughter of Ann Mahan ..aka snookie..your mother’s first cousin. I have 2 children of my own and applaud your passion.

I went to high school with Tonia and occasionally check you blog to see how your family is dealing with the loss of your beloved daughter. Your daughters voice had the ability to light up a room and I remember that the most out of anything I remember. I remember meeting Tonia at drama tryouts and in chorus. My thoughts and prayers are with you always
