Tonia Brundage Memorial Foundation
We desire to keep the memory of our daughter alive by remembering those things that she held dear; music, drama and family. Tonia loved to sing, dance and act. She was involved in chorus, high school plays and she loved anything to do with music. She loved family and the ideas of becoming a mother one day.
We have learned that in order to not only survive but to thrive after the death of our daughter that we had to grow closer to God and grow closer as a couple. Promoting strong, God centered marriages is our desire in order to help others to become the couple that God desired.
Therefore this foundation will:
- Support organizations that promote arts and theatre groups for students, especially those programs at Christian schools
- Offer financial assistance to organizations desiring to bring in speakers supporting Christian world view topics such as forgiveness, marriage as designed by God, and living a joy filled life serving God.
- Support Christian organizations that promote stronger marriage and family relationships
Fund raising activities:
- Public concerts and plays
- Public speaking events
- Charitable Runs/ walks
- Sales from any books or articles as designated by the author(s)
We are working on setting up this foundation and our goal is to have is recognized as a non-profit in early 2011. I will post more as this occurs.
